This is perfect for the latest "news" of your company, announcing special events or sales, and for keeping your content fresh and something people will visit again and again. This development service starts at only $225 in addition to your site design basics, and could save you much more over the course of a year in updating alone! Plus it gets viewers to return to your site! You will be able to update your content from anywhere using any computer and an internet connection. Fast, easy, affordable and very convenient. You can see an example of it at work on this "featured article" page of a web site we recently completed, Reachthenations.org. The server requirements are that you have a MySql database available, and PHP is installed. This is only one page, but the ability to do more than one page is available. Script cost and installation for two separate pages would run you around $350.

Things You Need to Know Regarding Web Design
Domain name. The domain name is the word after the www in your internet address.
Hosting. A web site needs a server, also called a hosting company, who charge you to serve or host your web site. The charge can vary from around $8 a month up into the hundreds of dollars a month depending on your site.
Content. You will have to provide the information that the designer puts together in the website. This might be images, text, keyword ideas for search engine success or something else. You have to commit the time to put all this together.
A goal. You have to be clear about what you want the site to do and be. Why do you need the site? Be ready to communicate this to the designer so that the site can be created to achieve that goal.
A contract. Deal with someone who is a professional. Sign a contract. It gives both parties, you and the designer, a legal basis for doing business. Make sure you know how much you will be charged for the work. Some designers charge by the hour, some by the job. Many ask you to pay half or a third of the price upfront, so be prepared to do that.
Things that you need to consider in creating a web site
Do you know who your web site customer is? Your site and most others are driven by their content. Know who your customer is, and what they want. Your content should be customer driven, not driven by who YOU are. Satisfy the customers needs. They want to know what you do and how it will help them. They are not looking for a mission statement. They are looking for an answer to their problem or need. What can you do for them? How can you become the ONLY solution for their needs? You need to have all your content prepared and ready to go BEFORE you start the actual web site development, so spend some time to develop it correctly. Make sure that that content has good keyphrases in it, and that the content on the page relates to what you do, what you can do for the customer. Get a copywriter if you don't have the capability within your organization.
Surf the web, find things you like. Bookmark them. Whether it's the color palette, the layout, a special way something is done -- be prepared to show us what you like and tell us WHY. That is a very important WHY. We need insight into you and your business.
Does your company have special requirements? Server requirements... Security requirements... Accessibility requirements? Do you need to harvest information and have it stored in a database? Does that information then need to be pulled back out and displayed on the web? Do you have something you need to sell on the web? Do you have a payment gateway or processor already set up?
How do you intend to market your website? Will it be web search only? Will you use a banner campaign? Adwords? Adsense? Print marketing? Newsletters? Television?
Once you know why you're building your company's website and have an idea of the look or feel you want to convey to your specific customer, contact a professional web company to successfully manage your project. And then let them do it.
